An exhibition that aims to elevate woman — however known or unknown she may be. Art that engages with her many facets, roles, and destinies, resisting any single account of what womanhood is or should be.

Teia Woman is a side event of @belgradebw, hosted at @ulus_udruzenje Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzorić — the most significant art space in Serbia, built as an art exhibition pavilion 100 years ago.
In a region where tradition has too often decided, on her behalf, who she is and what she is for, this question carries particular weight — though it is far from a regional one alone.
30 artists will be selected in total. 9–10 regional artists will be invited by the curatorial team. The remaining artists will be selected from the Open Call through community vote via the DAO at teia.art/polls, to inform the curators' final selection.
Artists from the Balkan region will be given priority, in support of strengthening a local community that remains small within the global web3 art space. Artists from the wider global community are also encouraged to apply.
Everyone who feels they have something to say about womanhood.
This call is open regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, class, culture, national background, citizenship status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, mental or physical disability, neurotype, health-related issues, income level, mental health status, or trauma.
Both new and existing works are eligible for the physical exhibition selection. Only new works will be featured on this event website.
