27 artists selected for the physical and digital exhibition at Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzorić — the most significant art space in Serbia, a side event of Belgrade Blockchain Week.
For a hundred years, the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzorić" has shown traditional art. This exhibition brings something this space has not held before — art that is mostly digital-native, minted and owned on-chain, with verifiable, immutable provenance.
Teia Woman aims to elevate woman, however known or unknown she may be, while resisting any single account of what womanhood is or should be. In a region where tradition has too often decided, on her behalf, who she is and what she is for, this topic carries particular weight — though it is far from a regional one alone, and it is one that has lately gone unattended. Teia DAO has long supported artists and causes too often left unheard, and this exhibition aims to continue that commitment.
Twenty-seven artists' reflections are gathered here, local, regional, and international, selected by the curatorial team together with community votes.
Each work is presented in two ways: in its native form, projected or screened, and printed for anyone who wants the physical reference. Each print has a QR code — scan it, you'll hit the on-chain record directly, and, in many cases, the artist's own account of the work. This is not supplementary material. It is there on purpose. Attend to it as you would attend to the work itself.
The exhibition is dedicated to woman in her many facets, roles, and destinies, living out her full potential — with a special tribute to the youngest and the oldest among us, whose voices are heard the least, and symbolically celebrates Cvijeta Zuzorić, the Renaissance woman poet after whom this pavilion is named.
Teia Woman is the first Tezos exhibition inside Belgrade Blockchain Week, funded by a Teia DAO grant from the Tezos Foundation.
